A bit about my current lease car

Let’s start with the good stuff: This thing is stupid quick. Like, it doesn't need to be as quick as it is (this is also bad as it has caused arguments). The instant torque and quattro all-wheel drive mean it launches like a spaceship (I assume), and every overtake is effortless. I've also got it through the business, which is great – tax benefits make it a no-brainer, and with charging costing next to nothing compared to petrol (£7 for 250 miles), it’s a solid financial move. Plus, let’s be honest, it’s a very good-looking car. Low, wide, and aggressive.

But, it’s not all perfect. It’s the size of a boat, which can make it a bit of a handful in tight spots (Tesco is a no go). And as for getting in and out? Well, according to my wife, she doesn’t so much sit in it as fall into it – and getting out is even more of a challenge. But hey, she can walk.

PS, I would recommend going for a standard GT, not an RS. You're paying a lot of money for the extra performance, which is just not necessary. Plus, RS doesn't come with the panoramic roof as standard 😢
